HOLE 6

Mae West

The first of a pair of back-to-back par 5’s – if the wind is with you on this hole, it will be against you on the next – and vice versa. A slight dog left to the left with the tee shot up towards the brow of the hill. There is a pond on the right of the fairway that might come into play with the second shot. A marker post on top of the hill acts as a guide for the second shot as the green cannot be seen. Once over the hill it’s down to the green with a series of mounds down the left. There is a bunker on the left just short of the green and another beside the green on the right. In the summer take one less club on the approach shot as the ball can run and run into bushes at the back of the green.
